The feeding event is just as it sounds: A event when you feed your dragons. 

You can prepera by:

1. Training dragons without feeding them 
2. upgrading your perches
3. Saving food packs 

4. Getting food boosters in the branch in the season who contains it 

Even if you in normal gameplay only use 1 perch, do upgrade de other ones a bit so you can put dragons on them. 
You can feed your dragons on the perches when they reach 95% (about every 20 minuts), this is a big help in the event.
